Hi, I’m Jennifer Beckham-Graves.

I am the founder & coach of Graves Athletics. I coach individuals to be the confident athletes they always wanted to be, while making the workouts enjoyable & time-efficient.

I am here to help you reach your fitness goals, whether it is to get stronger, increase muscle definition, or compete in that awesome event, while making the whole process fun!

More about me & my qualifications

I received my Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Freed-Hardeman University in May of 2021. While I was there, I had the opportunity to work as a strength and conditioning coach for the Track and Field team. I also received a scholarship to play tennis.

I received my Certified Personal Training certification in 2022 from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

I have worked in the private coaching sector for over four years now. I have worked with kids as young as eight and adults as old as 98.

I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Concordia University-Chicago. I should complete the program in December 2026.

One of my passions is to work with women who are experiencing changes in their hormones, either through peri menopause, menopause, or post menopause. My other (and probably main) passion is coaching young athletes (around ages 8-20). Both groups require very different strategies to produce the desired outcomes, but both age groups require consistency and dedication.

My coaching philosophy is a blend of longevity, performance, and confidence, informed by science. Training should be sustainable and straightforward, with long-term changes that focus on enhancing performance.

When training occurs in this way, we not only see significant changes in body composition but also a mindset shift toward increased confidence, creating successful athletes in every season of life.
