Hi, I’m Jennifer Beckham-Graves.
I am the founder & head coach of Graves Athletics. I coach youth athletes and adults who want to move well, get stronger, and feel powerful, not just in the gym, but in life.
I am here to help you reach your fitness goals, whether it is to get stronger, increase muscle definition, compete in that incredible event, or stand out from the other competition, while making the whole process fun!
Performance training is for everyone.
You don’t need to be a competitive athlete to benefit from training like one.
My approach blends strength, power, mobility, and movement quality so you develop:
Strong, resilient muscles
Better speed and coordination
Healthy joints
Confidence in your capabilities
Freedom to do the things you love
Every program is designed with purpose, backed by science, and built to support long-term performance, not quick fixes.
ABOUT ME & MY QUALIFICATIONS
I received my Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Freed-Hardeman University in May of 2021. While I was there, I had the opportunity to work as a strength and conditioning coach for the Track and Field team. I also received a scholarship to play tennis.
I received my Certified Personal Training certification in 2022 from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
I have worked in the private coaching sector for over four years now. I have worked with kids as young as eight and adults as old as 98.
I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Concordia University-Chicago. I should complete the program in December 2026.
One of my passions is to work with women who are experiencing changes in their hormones, either through peri menopause, menopause, or post menopause. My other (and probably main) passion is coaching young athletes (around ages 8-20). Both groups require very different strategies to achieve their desired outcomes, but both require consistency and dedication.
My coaching philosophy blends longevity, performance, and confidence, informed by science. Training should be sustainable and straightforward, with long-term changes that enhance performance. When training occurs in this way, we not only see significant changes in body composition but also a mindset shift toward increased confidence, creating successful athletes in every season of life.
YOUTH ATHLETES
I help develop athletes by building foundational strength, speed, power, and confidence so they can perform at their best and prevent injury.
WHO I WORK WITH
ADULTS WHO WANT TO FEEL ATHLETIC
I coach adults who want to feel strong, capable, and physically free again through performance-based strength training that fits their busy lives.
